SIO™ Processor Developer Tool Kit Overview
HID's SIO™ Processor supports the interpretation and authentication of the SIO data structure, enabling reader manufacturers, developers and system integrators to quickly and easily integrate SIO and TIP into their devices.
The Developers Center extends access to HID Global's broad developer community while also providing access to a comprehensive set of tools and documentation. These resources facilitate fast and easy integration of TIP and SIO Enabled (SE) solutions and enable developers to become part of the Genuine HID technology ecosystem. The SIO Processer DTK enables reader manufacturers, developers and system integrators to quickly and easily integrate SIO and TIP into their devices. It provides several functions such as:
- API functions and Keys to handle reading of the Physical Access Control Bits from HID credentials
- Key management
- Cryptographic algorithms
- HF (High Frequency) media management (HF frame creation, analysis and sequencing)
